How to find SuperCanalTurismo at the airport? 2018-03-13T13:27:40+00:00

At Punta Cana Airport (PUJ):

We have a counter inside the Terminal A, where you’ll be able to do all the procedure on your arrival. The counter is identified with our logo.

At Terminal B you will see all the counters on your left once you are getting outside the terminal.

If our representative is not at the counter, please wait a moment until he comes back, he should be taking another clients to their vehicle.

At all other airports:

Our driver will be waiting for you holding a sign with SuperCanalTurismo on it by the exit of the terminal.

How to find the driver at the hotel? 2018-03-13T13:25:57+00:00

Please look for our driver in the lobby area at the same place you were dropped off. He will be holding a sign which says “SuperCanalTurismo” on it. The minivan will have a sign.

Do you have assistance at the hotel? 2018-03-13T13:26:57+00:00

Our representatives provide assistance for our clients in the hotels. During the welcome meeting with your representative, they will provide the best guidance in excursions and activities you can do in Punta Cana and around, to make the most of your time and money.

What if I want to make changes on my reservation? 2017-12-18T17:05:41+00:00

You can make any changes you want to your reservation. Just contact us via email. Changes to the pickup time on departure are free of charges until 07:30 p.m. of the day before of the transfer.

Should I change my money at the airport? 2017-12-24T13:36:49+00:00

It is not a good idea to change your money at the airport. Anyways, the actual exchange rate must be around US$1.00 = RD$47.70 more or less.

What if my flight gets delayed or earlier? 2017-12-18T17:07:30+00:00

There is no need to inform us if your flight comes earlier or gets delayed. We monitor your flight and we’ll wait for you.

What about the pickup times? 2017-12-18T17:08:19+00:00

On arrival:

Once you arrive you will go through customs and immigration, this could take you around 30 minutes. So, the pickup time should be around 30 minutes after landing. Anyways, we have our representatives at the airport all the time, so any time you arrive you will be welcomed.

On departure:

You set your pickup time during the booking process. Airlines recommend you should arrive at the airport between 2 or 3 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time. We recommend that you should set the pickup time 2 hours + the estimated driving time before your flight’s scheduled departure time. Airline counters in the Dominican Republic normally open 3 hours before a flight and close 1 hour before a flight for international flights.

You can make your payment via PayPal once you book, or you can pay by cash upon arrival. The latter is available if you are arriving in Punta Cana airport only. For tours and excursions you need to pay in advance via PayPal.

Do I need a tourist card? 2017-12-24T13:41:36+00:00

Yes. We recommend that you buy the tourist card online before you arrive. Here’s some information about it:

All tourists (excepting nationals of the following countries: Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador, Israel, Japan or South Korea) entering the Dominican Republic need to buy a tourist card for $10.00 USD. This tourist card can either be bought by cash at your arrival or you can purchase it online clicking this link: https://www.dgii.gov.do/Tturistaweb

If you buy the tourist card online, make sure to print out a copy which will be sent to you via email after the purchase. The tourist card is valid for one year and can be used for one entry. Children need this tourist card also, no matter their age.

It can take 15 min. or more waiting in the line to buy this card especially when you arrive at the Punta Cana or Santo Domingo airport. If you buy the tourist card online you should then use the exit lane which is dedicated for Residents and/or Dominican citizens.

What is the cancellation policy? 2017-12-18T17:09:51+00:00

Cancellation Policy for Private Transfers: If cancelled more than 12 hours before your scheduled arrival time or pick up time at the hotel there is no penalty – we will refund your money – no questions asked. If you experience problems with your flight itinerary, connection flights etc., we will adapt to your needs (pick you up later or at a different airport etc.) or refund your money in case you just cannot make it because of flight cancellations etc.. If you cancel less than 12 hours before your scheduled arrival time or pick up time at the hotel we will refund 60 %. We will NOT REFUND in case of “NO SHOW” (No Show means that we expect the client at the airport or at the hotel and client just doesn’t show up without any prior notice) – till now we never had to charge any cancellations fees for our transfers from anybody!
